Aloha Friday

Welcome to this week's edition of Aloha Friday...Friday is one of my favorite days because they are usually shorter work days (although not this week) and it means more time to spend with my fam. Tonight W is coming to visit A for the night and I'm pretty excited. They have the best time together, and their laughter is contagious! Gotta love it...so

What fun activities for 2 year olds do you recommend?

I would love to hear your ideas for something to do with both of them this weekend...I mean we do all the normal stuff, but I want something fun and different! Can't wait to hear your answers :) Now head over to see the other questions at An Island Life

My grandkids love Chuckie Cheese! My soon-to-be-4yrs grand daughter takes figure skating lessons every weekend.

Is there a lake or river anywhere near you? We used to always take cracker/bread crumbs to feed the ducks - still a favorite today for me - kids are 29 & 30 now - ha!

Anywhere that you can walk! Point out the rocks, birds, new signs of life. My kids used to love that.

My son is going to be 2 in May. He loves anything that has music and movement. I am hoping to find something to do with him. If you have an indoor pool, park, Chuck E Cheese for their ride on toys, an indoor playground...any of those would be loved by a little one.

We do lots of arts and crafts things like painting. Just make sure you do them outside for easier clean-up! :-)

I used to take my son and his cousin who were 2 months apart outside with at big roll of butcher paper. Then I would give them chalk, finger paints and water colors. I would have them out line them selves in chalk and then paint clothes on themselves. Then I would cut "them" out and they would tape themselves up and cut out clothes and animals and make a mural on the outside wall of the house.
